The new 2014 Alexander Rose Avant Ranges
Alexander Rose introduced the pioneering Avant Range in 2003. It was a Danish inspired design using a “floating” chair seat and table top, made with FSC Teak slats on round tubular stainless steel frames. During the following years, more precision furniture was designed using a variety of different materials including compact laminate, glass, rattan and marble.
To mark its tenth successful year, Alexander Rose are re-launching this range as “Avant Classic”. In contrast to the Avant Classic with it’s round tubular frames, the new “Avant” range is designed using square section tubes with different materials consisting of wide teak slats, graphite colour Textilene slings and reproduction slate table tops. This angular style suits the latest market trend, and can be combined with Avant Classic models if desired.
Refined and minimal in style, this modern precision engineered furniture range commands attention and contemplation. Inspired by 20th Century furniture design, the Avant has square tube frames and wide Teak slats. The slate effect tops stand out from the smooth finish of the stainless steel.
The precision engineered round tube frames made with Grade 304 stainless steel contain a protective film of chromium oxide which prevents surface corrosion making them ideal for outdoor use. The Avant Classic range, incorporating the finest quality Teak with narrow slats on chairs and tables, will provide years of enjoyment and comfort with little maintenance.
